Works on paper evolved from initial monoprints of acrylic paint onto nonabsorbant paper. The same paints applied thinly onto tissue paper produce wonderful one-of-a-kind handmade sheets – perfect elements for collage work. I am indebted to artists Anne Bagley and Zoe Nadel
for teaching me these techniques. Most of these collages were included in exhibits at the Germantown Performing Arts Center in 2017 titled “Earth Music” and the Memphis Botanic Gardens in 2018 titled “Falling to Pieces.”
